My name is ​Sara Caldwell, and I am the principal of Kennedy Elementary School. I have been a proud member of the Alief family for 20 years and principal at ​Kennedy for 8 years. Before becoming a principal, I taught 3rd and 5th grade and have served as ​ELD Interventionist, ESL Lead, and Assistant Principal. I graduated from ​Southern Methodist University, where I obtained my Bachelor in Business Administration degree in Marketing. I also hold a Masters in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University. My mission is to create a Culture of Excellence where staff and students thrive and excel. One Team. One Goal. Before becoming an assistant principal, I taught Kindergarten, tutored various grade level and have served as ​Science Instructional Technology Specialist. I graduated from ​University of Texas-Austin, where I obtained my ​bachelor's degree in Bilingual Education. I also hold a master's in educational leadership from the University of Houston Clearlake.
